It’s not too late to add your pet to the 2024 Pets of Broad Street Love Collection. Book a session with master painter Donna Porter and select from a library vintage and antique portraits.
Each commissioned session includes:
One 15-minute meet-and-greet video call with Donna to kick off the project and get input from you on portrait style options
One bespoke pet portrait in your choice of medium (oil, chalk, or pastel), pose , and style, matched to style of vintage canvas or original artwork selected
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1: Pick your portrait base.
The base image is the canvas that Donna will start with to serve as the inspiration for your original piece. After booking a session with Donna, you can browse our library of curated portraits and choose from a wide arrange of styles and themes — from elegant oil paintings to whimsical tobacco trading cards from the turn of the century.
STEP 2: Meet and Greet.
Once you’ve found the antique to serve as the base canvas and muse for Donna’s inspiration, we can move on to the next step, getting to know your pet! You can email any pictures of your pet you would like to use as inspiration to info@goodtreesupplco.com prior to your scheduled call.
(NOTE: Feel free to submit a photo in the pose you would like to try and capture along with any specific notes about the image that you think the artist would find helpful.)
Once everything is uploaded, Donna will schedule a quick video chat with you and your pet to get a better sense of the subject’s personality and character. Then she’s off to work, blending the old with the new to create something unique and truly one of a kind.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inspired by her love of animals and nature, Donna Porter brings a bright and cheerful tone to her portraits, capturing her subjects with grace and beauty no matter the moment or medium. Donna received her bachelors and masters of fine arts from the University of Pennsylvania, and spent a year at Oxford’s Ruskin School of Art, studying under renowned masters such as Neil Welliver, Robert Engman, Sy Sillman, Hitoshi Nakasito, John Ross, and Richard Anuskiewicz. She currently lives in Narberth and works with students of all ages, teaching art as a way to enrich one’s life and perspective
